Tahitian Chicken

The Recipe
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup flour
- 6-8 chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup vinegar
- 3 Tablespoons soy sauce
- Cooked white rice
Heat oil in large frying pan. Flour the washed chicken and brown it in the hot
oil. Meanwhile, mix the remaining ingredients, except rice, together
in a small mixing bowl. Place chicken in a 9x13-inch baking dish, single layer.
Pour soy mixture over chicken. Bake 1 hour at 350F. Serve with white rice.

I used skinless, boneless chicken breast meat that was
pre-cut into chicken tenders... but I still cooked
it for an hour. The meat ended up tender enough to eat with
chopsticks. It wasn't what I was expecting but it was
1337!
